In 1974 while being an active partner with his father, Greg Renz decided he had to start something new.  Noticing a trend within the equine industry, he realized the potential and opportunity to satisfy the needs of horse and livestock enthusiasts.  In 1977 Greg Renz produced his very first hay crop and in addition, the birth of AGCO Hay Company.  There very name AGCO stems from “an Agricultural Company,” due to the variety of operations Greg Renz has undertaken.

A fourth generation of San Benito County, Greg Renz was raised in a farming and ranching background.  Farming crops such as alfalfa, grain, apricots, tomatoes, walnuts, and forage hay has provided AGCO Hay with the experience needed when purchasing product.  Raising beef cattle and developing western ranch horses have long been a passion for Greg.

Carol Renz, raised in somewhat of a different environment shared a mutual love for horses.  She grew up riding and showing hunter-jumper horses.  With their combined backgrounds, Greg and Carol have the experience to answer any question you may have.  Contact us today to learn more about us!
